About Me
My name is Erik Barona, or BuzzinErik to my small social media following... I've been interested in art for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always drawing, painting, and creating. I always said I wanted to be an artist when I grew up, but like some, my passion for art ebbed and flowed over the years. I always enjoyed art class, but I never took the time to seriously work on it. Once high school ended, I had no way to pay for college, and I didn't want to rack up debt. What best way to do so? Risking your life for your country. So, I made the decision to join the Military. I embraced my military experience and was able to fund my education and keep living.
School is where I was able to be creatively free again. I learned pottery, jewelry making, game design, 3d modeling, photography, animation and video editing. While I have had the opportunity to experiment with various mediums and styles. Thus, I consider myself a lifelong amateur artist. Good at many things, but not great at one. However, recently I have felt a renewed desire to create more and explore my artistic abilities. I don't want to be a lifelong amateur, I want to be grand! In my free time, I am a lifelong amateur artist with a passion for creating and exploring new mediums. I believe that art has the power to bring people together, inspire creativity, and express emotions in a way that words cannot. Whether it's through sketching, painting, sculpting, video, design, or any other medium, I am always looking for new ways to express myself and connect to others through art. As a highly skilled and well-rounded professional with 13 years of professional work. I have extensive training and leadership under my belt, as well as a strong foundation in learning and development and a commitment to personal growth. In addition to my soft skills, my technical skills include Adobe Creative Cloud, filming, photography, animation, 3D Maya, and Articulate Storyline, I have experience in instructional design, record keeping, strategic thinking, sales, copywriting, and social media. And for the sprinkle on top, I also have knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
Whether working on a project alone or as part of a team, I bring a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence to everything I do. I am a team player with a proven track record of task completion and active listening, and I am always looking for ways to use my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact.
